DFP grieved over loss of lives in Tral attack, demands probe by impartial agency | KNO

Expressing deep grief over the loss of two precious lives including a student in the grenade blast in Tral on Thursday, the Democratic Freedom Party has demanded a probe into the attack by any impartial investigating agency.

A DFP spokesperson in a statement issued to press termed the attack as heart-wrenching and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved families.

He said if such attacks are not prevented, the loss of precious human lives in the disputed territory may continue unabated. "So there is a dire need of resolving the longstanding issue of Kashmir as per its historical background," he said adding all the stakeholders must take serious note of such uncertainty in the region.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson has greeted the Muslims on the new Islamic year and expressed hope that this year proves a blessed for the Muslim Ummah and end the bloodshed and uncertainty across the world and show the dawn of freedom in Jammu Kashmir.
